This includes:

Visual inspection of the stack, pot and cowl (if applicable)

Checking the installation and ventilation requirements meet current regulations (Document J Building Regulations 2010)

Sweeping as per the Guild of NACS Code of Practice

Carrying out a smoke draw test using a smoke pellet

Issuing a NACS Appliance Sweeping / Servicing certificate (insurance industry recognised)
Stove with liner Sweep & Service £55
Same as open fire Sweep plus:

Inspection of your appliance including the checking of door seals, glass and associated gaskets as well as the condition of its flue pipe

Removal and cleaning of the fire bricks and baffle plate and reassembly

Cleaning of the glass and fittings as required

Confirmation that the installation and ventilation requirements meet current regulations
Bird nest removal
The first 90 minutes is a £130 charge and any time over and above this is charged at £30 per hour recurring. Please be aware that the removal of a bird’s nest may take anything from an hour to quite a bit more – sorry!
